Chester County Historical Society offers teachers a variety of resources for professional development and for use in the classroom. In addition, teachers arranging museum or classroom programs are invited to visit the Museum free of charge to plan their visit or lesson. Call 610-692-4800 x203 for an appointment.

The Historical Society is an Act 48 provider. Credit is offered for our pre-scheduled workshops listed on the calendar of events or for customized workshops developed with individual schools. Faculty and staff should feel free to call the Director of Education to set up customized sessions at their schools (610-692-4800 x235). Staff also is available to come to faculty meetings to introduce Historical Society school programs.
