History Day

Since 1989, Chester County Historical Society has been involved in sponsoring the regional competition for middle and high school students for National History Day. Open to all middle and high school students, from all schools (public, private, home schooled), students participate either individually or in groups in presenting original research in the form of a research paper, exhibit board, documentary or performance. In 2006, over 300 students representing 19 middle and high schools in Chester and Delaware Counties competed at the contest held in conjunction with Immaculata University.
