Quilt Raffle - Sunday, March 4th at 4PM
The Quaker Quilters, a volunteer group
of the Chester County Historical Society, has announced details of their
annual quilt project. The queen-sized quilt is a “Nine Patch Variation” – one of the oldest historic
quilting patterns. Created in Civil War reproduction fabrics, the 100% pre-shrunk
cotton quilt is a functional and magnificent piece of art. Created in muted greens,
burgundy, blues, and earth-tones, the quilt is a treasure which will be the central
focus of any room.

The annual quilt is created and produced both as a historic and fund-raising
project for CCHS. But the quilt cannot be purchased at any
price. Instead, it will go to the purchaser of the winning raffle ticket to be drawn
on the final day (Sunday, March 4th at 4PM) of the Chester County Antiques
Show. Raffle tickets are now on sale and can be purchased for $1 each, or 6 for $5,
at the Museum Shop or at any of the upcoming events for the Chester County
Historical Society.
